PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) supports the personal mobility of South Coast residents and visitors by offering safe, clean, reliable, courteous, accessible, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective transit service. You can find routes, schedules and other information on their website, including the convenient Downtown/Waterfront Shuttle which runs through the Presidio Neighborhood.
CYCLING
Santa Barbara is a bicycle-friendly city, and the City of Santa Barbara hosts many resources for cyclists, including electric bike rentals with Santa Barbara bcycle and an interactive bike network map. Several bike routes intersect and surround the Presidio Neighborhood.
BY CAR VIA US-101
If travelling from the north, take US-101 South, exit at Carrillo Street, turn left onto Carrillo Street. If travelling from the south, take US-101 North and exit at Garden Street, turn left onto Garden.

Hourly public parking can be found at several locations in the Presidio Neighborhood.
